Aarhus

If you go to Denmark, you can not miss the second biggest city (250.000 inhabitants) after Copenhagen.
It's name : Aahrus (pronounced Orus).

The city is known for its modern Museum ( Aros ), one of the biggest in Scandinavia.
It has 9 floor, and on the roof there is a panoramic colorful gallery.

On each floor there are different themes, for instance on the seventh floor paints from the 18th centuary are exposed.
A lot of exhibition change each year.
But the most sculpture is "The Boy", by Ron Mueck : its height, 5 meters.

But what I have preferred is the panoramic colorful gallery because we overlooked all the city and we took a lot of beautiful colorful pictures.

We visited also the old town (Den Gamble By). One tips : arrive early (9:40 am) and when the employees open the gates, you can enter but the house are closed. But after 10 am, houses are opened but the gates are closed and you need to pay the entrance (55 DKK)
So we had visited for free Den Gamble By.

And next to Den Gamble By, there is the botanic garden.
It is a beautiful little garden, because there is not so many greenhouse.
We can also let our jacket in lockers (in the tropical greenhouse the room temperature is high).

See you soon,
Justine
