Transport

Aalborg is a town which has an airport and a station. Thanks to low cost companies you can come there quickly. The main airlines are: KLM, Lufthansa or Norwegian.
But there is a connection before arriving in Aalborg. You can stop, for example, in Amsterdam Airport with KLM or in Copenhagen with Norwegian.

Expect about 286 € from Marseilles and 236 € from Paris (return and luggage included)

Upon arrival, if you want travel, this airport serves Amsterdam, Oslo, Copenhagen, Stockholm and Istanbul.

You can also use the train because there is the Hamburg-Aalborg link. The journey between Hamburg and Aalborg takes 6h17 and costs about 107 €. You need to add the High speed train and the Thalys journey to go to Hamburg.

Furthermore, Aalborg station allows you to go to other large towns such as Odense, Aarhus, and Copenhagen.

Then, for the braves they can use their car but from Grasse there are just over 1900 km and over 18 hours for the way!

In order to do small distances, the bike is interesting because overall  Denmark  is a flat country and the streets are bicycle-friendly.

There are several bus lines that go to downtown. It's work by area and it's 22 DKK (2.95€) per area. To have reductions three travel cards exist. The most intersting is the Personal Card. With this card usable across the Country, you have your own credit, a degressive price and it's valid for train and bus (I also refer you to my Tips and Tricks article to have more information about these cards).

Finally, you have ferry if you want travel to Norway, and Sweden.

Departures to these Countries are Frederikshavn and Hirtshals

Moving in Denmark is easy !

See you soon,

Nathan
